Elephant and Castle’s Annual Creative Festival returns for a tenth year as a weekend from Friday 5 October to Sunday 7 October. Feast at the night market on Friday and Saturday evening, join artists as they make al fresco estate art, sit back for a double bill of vintage London musical movies, marvel at Sunday’s indoor and outdoor underground skate film festival, visit the new Hotel Elephant open studio, find out more about mobile gardening in Elephant and Castle’s strangest new ‘park’ and on Saturday lunchtime share the food that makes community. This year the context of the festival is demolition as all venues are either poised for, in the midst of, in the aftermath of or have been saved from demolition.
